ABOUT US

There are many sources of carbon emissions, human activities, and industries that produce carbon in different proportions in different regions, which is difficult to estimate the amount of carbon emissions of human and other activities.

We are a carbon detectors team and our goal is to solve these problems, map, and estimate its emissions and locations in simple ways.

Carbon Dioxide from NASA

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an important heat-trapping (greenhouse) gas, which is released through human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels, as well as natural processes such as respiration and volcanic eruptions. The first graph shows atmospheric CO2 levels measured at Mauna Loa Observatory, Hawaii, in recent years, with average seasonal cycle removed. The second graph shows CO2 levels during the last three glacial cycles, as reconstructed from ice cores.

GHGs effects from NASA

The greenhouse effect is the way in which heat is trapped close to the surface of the Earth by “greenhouse gases.” These heat-trapping gases can be thought of as a blanket wrapped around the Earth, which keeps it toastier than it would be without them. Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxides.
